Benefits of the Product
The Hydracut allows temporary access and isolation of the riser component for spring hydrant replacement & Repair.
The risk of the temporary isolation valve failing is minimised as it’s not integrated into the fitting
Isolation Process 1:
Assemble the Temporary Isolation Valve to the main body
Isolation Process 2:
Bolt on the temporary isolation slide valve to the side flange of the Hydracut.
Isolation Process 3:
Using an Allen key, turn the roll valve from the CLOSED to OPEN position.
Isolation Process 4:
Insert temporary gate valve, replace hydrant after confirming isolation.
Isolation Process 5:
After replacing the hydrant, pull the temporary gate valve to commission the hydrant by pulling out. Then, turn the roll valve into CLOSED position.
Isolation Process 6:
Remove temporary isolation valve from the Hydracut riser, and bolt on blank flange.
